Description
Bed covers with Zari or Brocade thread embellished on
handloom woven cotton fabric. These are handcrafted by
hereditary textile artisans of Jaipur in Rajasthan. The
zardosi embellishment is either in silver or in golden
color. The motifs on embroidery are very Indian flora
and fauna found in Rajasthan state of India. The fabric
is heavy and so it provides proper fall when spread on
the bed. Stone washed color on the fabric gives it very
rustic yet chic look. The dyes used by Rajasthan
craftsmen are often natural colors

coverlets are made in double layer cotton fabric. The
heaviness caused due two layers allows the bedspread
coverlet to fall straight on bed sides. The fabric is
handloom woven by the textile weavers of villages of
Rajasthan. Printing is done by the artisans of Jaipur.
These artisans use hand-block prints and tie and dye
prints. Motifs in these prints are typically flora and
